Hachindar Chishh expedition
The Hachindar Chhish reaches an elevation of 6,870  m (according to other sources, 7,163  m ). It lies on a ridge that branches off from the so-called “Batura Wall” to the south-southwest at Batura I. 8.56 km east-southeast is the Sangemarmar Sar . Between them, the Machuhar Glacier flows south. West of the Hachindar Chhish, the Baltar Glacier flows southwest.
Ascent history
The first ascent of Hachindar Chhish was achieved on August 4, 1982, by a Japanese rope team from the Machuhar Glacier via the east face. This expedition had the following members: Yasuyuki Higashi, Kenji Yoshida, Toshikazu Saito, Kensaku Sakai, Tatsuya Takinami, Kenichi Kimura and Kiyoshi Hayami
