Shimshal is a remote village in upper Hunza, which lies at an altitude of 3,100m. The Himalayas, the frozen peaks, the glaciers, and the wide grasslands are all little features of a small village of Wakhi speaking people. A village which was isolated for centuries was finally connected with KKH by a link road in 2003. Due to remoteness of the region it is less frequently visited trek hence its natural beauty is unspoiled and inspiring. Shimshal is a home of mountains like Dastaghil Sar, Shimshal White Horn, Minglik Sar, Lupghar Sar, Yazghail Sar, Kanjut Sar and others are well known among mountaineers. However Minglik Sar (5930 M) is more popular as it is relatively an easy trekking peak and can be climbed in a day. Some of the most popular treks including Pamir Pass, Chafchangol Pass, & Lukpe La etc. can be started in Shimshal

Day 06: Trek to Ghar Sar (3,300m) – Camp
Day 07: Trek to Wooch Furzeen (3,800m) – Camp
Day 08: Trek to Arbob Purian (3,810m) – Camp
Day 09: Trek to Shujerav (4,005m) – Camp
Day 10: Trek to Shuwerth/Shimshal Pass (4,500m) – Camp
