In this five (8000m) Base camp trek, we start the first part and visit to Fairy Meadows & Nang Parbat Base Camp from Raikot Glacier. Nanga Parbat (8125m), the second highest peak in Pakistan and 9th in the world is known as one of the three most challenging mountains above 8000M. For tourists and trekkers, it is a mountain with stunning beauty, has three famous faces known as Rupal, Diamir and Raikot. The huge massif has a series of ridges and pinnacles culminating at 8125m to name it Nanga Parbat, means ‘naked mountain’. In the program, we will see the mountain from Raikot side to witness the beauty and culture of surrounding glaciers, villages and people. Then we will proceed for Concordia known as “the Throng Room of Mountain gods” from here hikes to K-2 Gasherbrum base camps will be made. Finally, we continue our hike to Gondogoro La 5450m, which is the most popular and frequently used high pass in the Karakoram. If weather favors, this high pass offers the most overwhelming and extraordinary view of K-2, Broad Peak, G-I, G-II, G-III, G-IV, Masherbrum, & Chogolisa besides many other peaks and glaciers in the region.

Gondogoro La 5450m is the most popular and frequently used high pass in the Karakoram. This route was established in 1986 that connects Concordia and the upper Baltoro Glacier to the beautiful Hushe Valley over the Gondogoro La. Though quite challenging and technical pass but provides an alternate route to return from Concordia hence making equally famous among trekkers and climbers. If weather favors, the high pass offers the most overwhelming and extraordinary view of K-2, Broad Peak, G-I, G-II, G-III, G-IV, Masherbrum, & Chogolisa besides many other peaks and glaciers in the region.
